Hi Sandeep V, and give thanks you for your assistance.

I accept followed some of the links and advice which you suggested.

The 'Fix It' didn't seem to accept an choice which covered a scanner. The link which read printer, camera, scanner etc.. was but near printers.

Windows does recognise that information technology is there. When i switch it on, in the control panel-printers and other hardware-scanners, Epson WF2510 comes upward. It is too listed in device manager and 'tests OK'

I tried a few things in MS config. when i hid all windows options and disabled all the residual apart from 'Epson scanner', i restarted and the aforementioned nil advice error.

I put it all back and tried the last option, the 'no load organisation files' option. Still no joy.

Any further ideas? As i say, it worked once, and only one time. The printer works perfectly. Exercise you think it may be conflicting software somewhere?

I also noticed that i may have trojan on board by the name of wpbt0.dll  in the searching for a solution for the scanner situation, the detect which started popping up a while agone which i mistook for a proper file, turned out to be a fleck more than of an effect. Do you recall this may be a probem with it?

Howdy Sandeep,

Many thanks for your help again. After trying and trying for hours and hours to get this infernal machine to piece of work, i have opted to send it back and tell Epson that their product back up for this item is pathetic. I have never had a piece of hardware which doesn't piece of work from information technology's own software disc, and also a back up team who have no idea. I did however tell them nearly you and your help and told them that they should have more people like you, willing to aid with the knowledge to dorsum it upwards, on their staff for people like me. Plus i feel that they should know about these problems with their product before information technology is launched! I will be buying a dissimilar model and hopefully i will take more luck with that i!
