The manual says: The seat is at the correct height when your child's elbows are level with the table top. So I used the setup seat 2 footrest 6 as per manual. My baby is young but tall and that is why I had to use this setup. But guess what? This thing Only Can be used if the seat plate is in the top slot so is no longer fitting. Useless, you better buy a more traditional chair and stop paying a premium that does not worth it.

Okay. I love the Tripp Trapp chair. I have such warm fuzzy memories of it because one of my closest friends had one for her boys and I watched them grow up in it. I didn't even consider buying another high chair. I am still looking forward to using it as a chair chair. But it freaking sucks as a high chair. We bought the intent attachment. Terrible. Unusable. Now that he's a bit older we bought this attachment. I am so disappointed! He HATES it. It's plasticky and the straps basically feel like an afterthought. It takes two people to get the child in. And then we have to take him right out because it's not comfortable. Ugh. Ughhhhhh. Seriously it makes me want to buy a $30 stupid wooden bulky restaurant supply high chair. Save the Tripp Trapp for when your kid is more human and can sit up. Buy something else as a high chair.

We bought an older version of the Tripp Trapp seat on Facebook marketplace and we're struggling with our 18 month old wanting to get up and down during meal time. I'm SO grateful for this baby set. It fit the older seat no problem and has been wonderful keeping our daughter contained during mealtimes. I would definitely recommend this product and will certainly purchase again for our second child's seat. (**the midnight blue color is beautiful**)

This is the beSt high chair I have found. My small daughter (30th percentile) was so low at the table in my other two wooden chairs and also the straps would not work for her on those; this chair is not only super adjustable allowing her to be at the correct height to be able to see her food and feel like she is up with us, but the best thing Is the harness which is 5 points but does not hold the baby back against the chair bc the strap attaches to the chair near their lower back so baby can reach forward and move around while safely secured in the chair. It is seriously phenomenal compared to what I was dealing with. It will also accommodate a much larger baby it seems as the harness straps
Are very adjustable as well. Thank you stokke.

Color: Storm Grey Verified Purchase

This is a great product for the Stokke tripp trapp chair. My only complaint is that the colors of the baby sets online don't match what you actually get at all. I ordered the Storm Gray color thinking it was a dark gray/blue and it was instead a light gray and didn't match our chair at all. I then ordered the forest green color and it too was a very light green, not at all what I wanted. It will do, but just beware the color you think you are getting will not match up. I also sent the gray one back well over a week ago and still have not received any refund. A little concerning. Hopefully I will get it soon?

The baby set does what it says. However the color is not anything close to aqua (it's more of a slate) and the gliders are a different color (they are aqua). If you have the aqua chair you might want to purchase your baby set in person to ensure it all matches. The slate color isn't bad, but is disappointing that it wasn't the color we anticipated.

I ordered the high chair and baby set based on feeding information blogs and the various adjustability features. And I bought it before reading all those 1-star reviews about the babies not fitting easily. My child is on the larger side 17.5lbs at 5 months and the baby set is perfect! My baby can fit just fine, the harness is adjustable and the baby set fits perfectly with the high chair and cushion. I think the 1-star reviews might be a parent-user issue not baby size issue.

Love this high chair - it is lower than i expected but once you put it at a table you realize its the correct height. If just stand alone it may feel a little shorter, but it is nice if you are sitting and feeding. We purchased when my daughter was 15 months and originally didn't get everything together and quickly realized we did want the baby seat and tray table so would recommend getting all together so you put it together with it and don't need to adjust after. Not a huge deal if you think you can do it without, but for any child under two I would imagine you would want it. We did not get a cover and definitely isn't necessary. I think looks cleaner without. We always get tons of compliments!
